Questions to
ask your transport company. There are
more things to ask then what's your pickup
and Mileage rate. Many companies hope that
is all you will ask so they reduce their
pickup and mileage rates. Here are a few
questions that will assist you in making a
decision.
1. What is your pickup fee for people in
a wheelchair?
(This is important because a company will
give you a cheap rate based on people not
needing to be in a wheelchair but not tell
you this, then charge you a fee if you are
in a chair.)
2. Is there an after hours fee?
(Some companies will charge you if it’s
before or after a certain time of the day.)
3. Is there an extra charge for weekends
or Holidays?
(There should never be an extra charge.)
4. Is there a cancellation fee?
(There should never be a cancellation fee.
These things happen and most of the time by
the Doctor’s Office. You shouldn’t get
charged because your Dr. cancels.)
5. What is your service
guarantee?
(You are paying a lot of money for
transportation services, and you have the
right to expect equal amount of service in
return. If you're late for your appt because
the driver was late to pick you up are you
still charged? How about your return do you
have to pay if you waited an hour for the
driver to return for you?)
6. Does Medicare or Medicaid pay for
transports?
(Medicare DOES NOT PAY for wheelchair van
transports and you should hang up on any
company that say they do!)

Safety is our number one priority.

• Each Driver goes through
extensive driver training.
• Drivers must maintain a clean
driving record which is verified
through the Department of
Licensing on a yearly basis.
• Drug testing is given upon hire
and random drug testing is given
throughout employment.
• No charge for stairs requiring
single driver.
• Each vehicle is electronically
monitored through a computer
in the vehicle which sends second
by second updates to our
Management. If a vehicle speeds,
breaks to hard, turns a corner too
sharp or accelerates to fast an
alert is immediately sent to
Management for review.
